ciblr respects your privacy. This policy explains which data we process, why, for how long, and the rights you have, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

When you sign up for the free watch through our website, we collect: your first name, your surname, your business email address, the perimeter criteria you put together (sector, canton, size), the date of the sign-up, the exact wording of the consent box you ticked and its version, and a technical fingerprint of your IP address (hashed, never stored in plain text) for security and anti-abuse purposes.
Links in the emails. The link to our site in each watch email is signed and specific to your sign-up: when you click it, we record the date and which send it came from, then redirect you. So we know whether you clicked, never whether you opened the email: our service uses no open-tracking pixel. The link does not contain your email address.
Exploring the network map. When you use the public map, we record, for each company whose network you open, the date and a technical visit identifier (a hashed fingerprint of your IP address and browser, never the address itself). This history primarily serves to enforce the daily limit of free networks. If you then sign up for the watch, it is attached to your sign-up and can be consulted by our team to understand what you were looking for; it is never passed on to a third party, never used to profile you, and the companies you looked at are never quoted back to you in an email or a call. It is deleted automatically after 35 days. You may ask for its immediate deletion at any time.
When you take out a subscription, the payment is processed by Stripe; we neither see nor store your card number. We keep your email address, your company name and the status of your subscription in order to open and manage your access.
Company data. Our database is built exclusively from official Swiss public sources (commercial register / Zefix, SOGC, UID register, .ch zone) and from information published by the companies themselves (website, legal notice). It covers companies and information made public by law, in particular the identity of the officers entered in the commercial register. We do not fabricate any data and we do not collect sensitive personal data.
Your contact details are processed in order to send you the watch you asked for and, where applicable, to contact you again about our services. The legal basis is your consent, given explicitly when you sign up, or the performance of the subscription contract. The processing of company data drawn from public registers relies on legitimate interest and on the public nature of that data.
Watch sign-ups (your contact details, your criteria and your consent) are kept for 24 months, then deleted automatically; the map exploration history, 35 days. You may ask for their deletion at any time. Account data is kept for the duration of the subscription and for the statutory accounting retention periods.
Your data is neither sold nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. We use technical service providers to host the service, deliver emails and collect payments (in particular Render for hosting, Resend for sending emails and Stripe for payment), who act as processors. Some providers may process data outside Switzerland or the European Union; where this is the case, appropriate safeguards govern those transfers.
The website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work (the session when you are logged in, and your language preference). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as the right to data portability and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to us at hello@ciblr.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent authority (in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner).
